Project USA (Los Angeles) - Ukraine (Lviv)

Supervisor - Bohdan Futala (Santa Monica)

The idea of the project was conceived in Ukraine
during the visiting Lviv Academic Gymnasium
by Bohdan Futala, an honoured teacher of the USA in 1999.

The plot of this project consists mailing between
Ukrainian and American students in selected subjects.
Bohdan Futala teaches at John Marshall High
School Los Angeles,California.
American students participate in the project within
the limits of sociology curriculum of John Marshall High School.

They are:

            Vanessa Grazziani
                William Hines

Sociology of Culture, and Psychology.
Conducted Research:
"The Unique Nature of the Indiviual:
the Individual as the Creator of Culture,
the Individual as a Social Being."

	1.Jouriy Bobak My favority subjects are chemistry and biology, also I'm interested in Sociology and Psyhology. I sound of such music like ATB,SCOOTER.
2.Christina Gauryliuk My favourity subjects are World History and Philosophy. I'm interested in Politics,Music, Computer science and Sport. I like traveling. I'm friendly,sociable,active in school.
	3.Dasha Karol I study in Lviv Academic Gymnasium well. As for me like Chemistry and Biology lessons, English and Philosophy. I like to help people.
4.Helen Kenyo. I'm interested in Sociology and Psyhology. I like to spend time in the forest ar at the top of mountains.
	5.Vera Klos. My favourity subjects are English and Foreign literature. I'd like to study some humanities more deeply than I am.I don't know where I'll study in future but I'm going to be a sociologist or economist. As for me the most interesting in the world is speaking to different people. I like to travel very much.
6.Helen Kudina I am interested in different things. But my truu love is chemistry and reading books. I like to read different kinds of books,but most of all I like detective and adventure stories. I love nature around us. In the future I want to be a scientist, chemistry scientist. I also like to draw,specially is style Grafity.
	7.Ksenia Maliarchuk I go in for dancing and like to go disco. Besides,I like different kinds of sport. I study good.But I am interested in psychology and sociology. It is very important to me to know about sociology as much as possible.
8.Mariana Tsupka. I like to learn English and German very much. My hobby is sport.I go in for gymnastics. I like all kinds of books but I usually read novels. Also I like sociology.I'm not sure that I'll a sociologist in the future,but my job will involve intercourse with different people beyond all manner of doubt.
	9.Olenka Ugryn. I like nice music,swimming and ski. I want to be a journalist. I'd like to know more about sociology and about what are sociologist studying.
10.Viktor Shyshkin I'm interesting in History,Maths,Physics and English. I like to study all the subjects,which are in our school. With an elementary school I visited a musical school. I also like to travel and to play many sport games.
	11.Mariana Bartusiak I study in Lviv Academic Gymnazium, in the economic group. I like to listen to music: rave,rap,pop. I write poems,romantic and detektive novels. I draw pictures and fashion sketches. I am secritary of the Lviv school government. My friend and I publish newspapers.
12.Oksana Voronenko In future I'm going to become specialist in the field of business administration. I like computer science (specially design) and alsojournalism is my hobby. I'm fond of sport: swimming,bascketball,athletic. I think social science will help me in future same as in my career as in my personal life.That's why. I'm interested in studying social science very much.
